yeah so i killed him about 5 times... waiting for him to regenerate each time... and his key won't open the treasure chest! the key just dissapears... REALLY FREAKING ANNOYING. This post is faded because it has a negative score.
Had an issue completing this quest, had a 11 rarespawn with him and 2 level 8's. Pretty tough fight to solo at 10 with those odds. Guessing normally the rarespawn isn't in that spot. GL if he is. This post is faded because it has a negative score.
so heres the thing with the key:
Its a warrior quest, but also. The chest looks like its not an active item when u mouse over it. So, unlike most keys, where u have the keep in your inventory and then u clik on the box.... you have to right click on the key first. THEN, when you mouse over the box it says "deadtooth's strongbox" after that u can open it. Funny thing is. I've been carrying this key all the way up to lvl 45 : ) I've always been meaning to find out what was in the box. Well, just now, when i opened it, it was empty : ) So maybe u have to have the quest which maybe i abandoned a while back. Haggard wouldn't give it back to me. so.... there u go... for what its worth : )
Ok,,,Who ever put this quest together did not want someone to beat it easy. Every bad guy has a pet standing close by. I have got killed about 15 times now. I have tried to enter the area every different way i could get into it. I'm a level 12 and it is hard to get this quest....So beware ! This post is faded because it has a negative score.
where do you find the key? i killed him 3 tmes ad the key wasn't on him!!!
