Hi guys, just thought I'd save people some of the problems I had when I first set out to get my dagger.

I started at level 33, and as a rogue, soloing the Mr. Fallout was not the problem, but rather the quickest routes to him, safest places to pull.

I have gotten so efficient that I can now solo him, get back down to him, pull him, before my evasion timer has reset (5 minutes).

First off, invis to him (duh).  Take your first left, following the wall until you get to your 2nd big door.  The main thing to watch out for here are the irradiated troggs.  If you get into the greenish path they leave behind, it will DoT you, drop your invis.  Forget Vanish, as you'll be dotted.  Just be careful.  They won't see you if you are 30+ ever, and as long as you avoid their trail of green sick, you should be fine.

After the main 2nd door, go through and veer right.  You shoudl come to a giant staircase.  You can drop invis here and run through the safe gnome area (they won't help you though, remember that).  Once through there, stealth up again and veer left into the fall out area.  Once in that main room, take a right and hug the wall until you come to basically the northeastern most corner.  Here is where you'll fight.  You will have to clear zero mobs.

In that corner a) Fallout paths about every 2 mins b) the two mobs on either side of him are too far away to agro with him.

When he paths by, I open up with a cheap shot and get a couple SSs in and then pull him back to the wall.  Don't use poison.  He isn't affected by it (and every time you reset instance it will be gone, which is annoying).  Pop evasion up.  Get five combo points and eviscerate.  Rinse repeat.  At 33 I don't need pots or thistle, but your milage may vary.  Make sure to not use kidney punch during Evasion or you are just wasting combo points.  I sometimes use Kidney toward the end if he is getting some lucky rolls, but have yet to need a pot.

After he's done, loot your boots or your cane (as if the dagger will drop the first 10 times).

Now you should have a 2nd account, but you don't have to.  I do.  Makes life easy so I don't have to annoy ppl (plus my wife plays on it).  Either way, invite someone to your group.  Make them group leader.  Disband.  Camp.  You should get the "You're not in this group's instance message" right as you are logging out.  If not, you've done something wrong.

Log back in.  You'll be back at the top with about 3.5 minutes left on Evasion.  Just enough time to walk back down to Fallout and do it all again!

I can kill him 6 times in a half-hour no problem, but then it tells me I can't do anymore instances for awhile.

It's not bad gold either.  Cane sells for 86s, so you end up making on average 2-4g a half-hour while looking for your sweet weapon!  Hope it helps!

Oh by the way, I'm not twinked at all (which is why I am camping him).  I'd imagine this could be done by a twinked 30 no problem, maybe lower (not sure though).

so after spending an hour spamming the major cities for help to farm the first boss in gnomer..i get a whisper from a 52 rogue who said that he soloed at lv 30 and maybe i could do to..i said noway Viscous Fallout is 30 elite that cant bleed..and im a 28 rogue. But with noone responding i decided to try it..brought 1 15 agility pot, greater healing pot, cooked bear meat (+6 sta spirit when well fed) and heavy sharpening stones)..found a nice spot to kill him on orth end of th epit..went in with a ambush then switched to a high end dmg sword and combat rogue fought him to the brink he had 10% life i had..well none..maybe 10 hp? hit ghostly strike hit my eviserate with 5 combo points earned on him..dodged an amzing 3 hits in a row..an dbam..first kill..wiht .5 hp left..TOXIC AVENGER!

THE END

Following the instructions listed here, I killed Fallout twice and got the dagger on the second try.

Simply stealthed in, got to the edge overlooking the floor below, unstealthed, and jumped onto the silver gear.  Waited for combat flag to drop (due to being spotted by mob on overlook when I unstealthed), sat and ate for a minute, then jumped off the gear.

Killed the closest mob to the gear (ooze or slime or something), restealthed and waited for Fallout to come by.  His path takes about two minutes.  With my back to the outer wall, looking at the silver gear I landed on, he came through and I jumped him.  No adds and he was an easy kill.

First time, got the boots (they are BoP).  Vendored them, but probably should have offered to let a friend or guildie come get them instead.  I then invited a random guildie to join my group, promoted him to leader, left the group, then logged.  When I logged back in, I was standing at the instance portal.

Second time, after killing the first ooze I forgot to stealth, so I was spotted by Fallout when he came by and he got first shot.  It was still an easy fight - no evasion, no potions.  The dagger dropped and is a nice complement to my Claw of the Shadowmancer (both 1.90 speed 27-51 dam).  I'd like a slower, heavier mainhand but for now it's a nice upgrade.

The longest part of this whole shebang was flying to IF and running to Gnomer.  Both kills and getting the dagger took less than 15 minutes.

Done as lvl 29 priest.
1. Kill the mobs that you can't get around.
2. Jump down on the big gear.
3. Kill one of the slimes that are closest to the wall.
4. Hug the wall.
5. Kill Viscous Fallout.
6. Loot.

Kill how? Well, hide inside your bubble and let SW:P and your wand do the work. Takes some time, but it's safe. Bring pots if it makes you feel better, but I wasn't even close of needing any. He has only 3000 health, and doesn't hit that hard. Your shield should be able to absorb 3-4 hits. That leaves you with 2-3 unshielded hits, which Renew takes care of.

PS! Don't use a nature damage based wand ...
