seems like this guy is a rare spawn. just saw him for the first time in like 10 runs here.

The Behemoth roams in the Quarry (not Pyron's tunnel). From the viewpoint of the entrance, he wanders a path on the right side. You might be able to see him from the door, or just a little further inside; a minute will be enough to tell, no need to get your hands dirty with dwarf blood.
His path takes him behind the upright slabs on the right side, where it's easy to kill him if you take out the dwarf and slaves first. He is sandy/rocky and looks somewhat like the Thistleshrubs in Tanaris. He's about as big as a Tauren. When you fight him, he has a point-blank area of effect attack that can chop a group down if you're not careful. We beat him with a 49 Rogue, a 46 Warrior, and a 46 Shaman.
i was going down to BRD to try to get a barman shanker (try number 30...) and i see this huge guy walking around where the task masters and slaves usually are. i had to run the first time, because i wasn't prepared for him to be hitting for almost 500 damage. the second time, i got a string of lucky crits during my evasion and he was 1/4th health when it ran off. after that I barely beat him, but he did drop the vilerend slicer.
Was looking for on of the guys to drop the note in the Quarry before BRD and ran into huge guy. Level 50 Elite... I was able to solo him as a lvl 58 paladin, but he wasn't easy. He dropped the slicer and 5 dark iron residue. This post is faded because it has a negative score.

The Behemoth was killed this morning, 2/17/06 about 10am by myself, level 46 warrior, and Jeezabel, level 60 pally. He dropped the vilerend slicer, some money, runecloth and dark iron residue for us. This post is faded because it has a negative score.

He does bleed so bleed affects in Druid cat form work.
what level is BRD i rember seeing my lvl 49 druid friend in BRD and i'm a lvl 46 hunter about to hit lvl 47 and want this item really bad does it work good with a dagger in the other hand??? fast attacks?
Today I was retriving my body from BRD after a failed lava hop and I saw this mob. There was a L60 warlock duking it out with him and I didn't assist. After the warlock died, I waited for the right spot and ambushed. I didn't aggro any adds and I was able to take him out with one major health potion. Drop: Vilerend Slicer

Kill'd him 5 min ago was my 1st time seeing him, solo'd him im a 60 warrior very easy, My gears not the greatest but i had no problem, easy kill :-) didnt drop anything great, these leather healing leggings, dont feel like getting the name atm.
Was running some lowbies through BRD. Some went AFK at entrance so I ran around farming runecloth off the humanoids there, saw this guy come around a corner. Figured a rarespawn was worth a fireball and got a nice BoE blue out of it. The Vilerend thing. Easy kill (70 fire mage of course . . .) and well worth it.
According to wowwiki, this guy has an "extremely" long spawning time
