Is it a quest? At what time is it there? How much people you have to beat for it?
hehe i just got that trinket, there was 2 lvl 60 hordes and a 45 one of the lvl 60 killed the other and thn the lvl 45 iklled the last lvl 60 then i sapped the lvl 45 and took chest and ran away p.s im only 36
Stop being sore. Rogues can stealth for a reason. That reason being that because we only wear leather, we can't keep up very well against anyone wearing plate, and because we don't have any decent ranged attacks whatsoever, we can't keep up very well against casters from a distance either.
If rogues couldn't stealth, they would be the whipping-boys of WoW. But we can, and we're not. Get over it. It does amuse me however that Gurubashi arena fights always seem to end up with a stealth-off in my experience.
One, it says you gotta be level 35 to start this quest, but i see every rogue twink with arena grand master, maybe even two of them. Does that mean you get it right out of the chest every few times?
Two, it does (italics) come from the chest right (italics)?
who cares about how badass rogues are ( i have a 70 rogue :). Is this John Mithril guy at the arena, or near the arena?

Short John Mithril is in the arena stands opposite the entrance to the Gurubashi Arena.
The chest respawns every 3 hours, remember that your time and the server time may be different when planning to go there. A tip to getting the chest; Rogues: Hide out on the edge, wait till the battle gets thin, sap the last person, get the chest and run. Hunter: Same as rogues, but use frost trap instead. Druid: Wait till the last person is standing in stealth, if they were in a hard fight, take advantage of that and pwn them. Pally/Warrior/Shaman: Just dominate at the place, it's hardest for you probably. Mage: Same as hunter/rogue, but use Polly Morph. Warlock: You might be able to pull a fast one with fear, but it's harder then some other classes. Priest: Basically the hardest for priests, stay out of the fray and jump in at the end, if you can fear them and grab the chest, go for it.
The above is correct except for one thing: warlocks should send their succubus in to use seduction before fear runs out.
That gives you about 20 seconds to grab. Oh, and if you have one of these and want to get another (usually twinks), I would assume that the trinket itself would protect you from interruption when trying to loot this, so you might want to use it just before hand. Not sure though.
Whats the new added comment short john says now sense patch 2.3 he now randomly yells "Ah! that hits the spot!"

As of now , this guy isn't giving me the quest.

Sorry, you can't do that while immune. I got a 70 paladin and I tried to cap a flag but it couldn't, it will say "you can't do that when you are immune".

Well, I got it as level 40. Easy, sometimes there's nobody there and sometimes you can team up with higher players: 'I get the trinket, you get everything else'
Been one of the best trinkets I've got in the next 25 levels ;)
i just got 1 question! im lvl 20 rog and i dunno how to start that quest!! it says at thottbot that u need to be lvl 12 to get it! u get it of short john something! and he is standing in the arena but i still cant start the quest! why>??
hmm maybe, but there is still like 3 h'es in his name.. so not entirely long john silver though:P
