Go to the rogue area, straight through the farm, there's a path down hill.

Turn left (more than 90 degrees) and the path becomes up hill again. He is at the end of the path.

It's actually very easy. Once you have gotten to Ravenholdt Manor (which is the hardest part) simply continue past the vegetable garden/field on your right, which is laid out before the manor proper, continue for about twenty or so yards uphill, and take a sharp left before plunging down the mountains North-east from the manor. Continue down the path to see the emaciated physiognomy of Lerent, practising his vile trade. Talk to him, and voila!

Don't forget to "use" (cogwheel etc.) his cauldron for an extra surprise...

For me, the kick of finally finding this guy far outweighed the actual reward. A good 1650 ep's though, at Lvl44. Not bad for a good three hours' work...

This was a PITA to find, there is a hard to follow route behind the manor to  Staffron Lerent. (Hillsbrad Foothills)

The path is at 75,23

Ravenholdt manor, if you know where it is, great... from front head to your right till you fall/slide down the hill it'll take you to a path, go left and follow it...

if you don't know where the manor is... head up into the north eastern section of the zone, the path is not shown and since i don't have the corrdinate thingy, you'll have to find a way up into the mountains... if you look at your min-map you'll see the manor on your left as you progress up wards... i hope this helps...

and yes, click the cauldron afterwards, =)

Finally I found his cauldron a few steps away from that small lake. But there was no apothecary and I could not activate anything. Am I too late and the event is already over?

  If you are reading this in the sheer hope of finding directions, don't bother. He isn't going to be there when you get there and you will be as pissed off as I am for spending all that time trying to find it with no reward.
Would have been cool to get the reward of the dress or shirt. They look awesome. Nothing to report other than the seasonal is over....can't be anything else, can it?

I'm at the cauldron right now. There is noone there though, other than e skeleton of someone who probably normally stands here... Either the seasonal is over or someone just killed him off

This is kind of weird.

Cant find the dude either... i am standing at the cauldron at (87,14)... there is no dude here.

Were is he? is this a seasonal quest?

All I found was a lvl 60 Tauren fishing in the lake.

I went up to check it out and found only the cauldron. No NPC. Any1 bothered to check with blizz whether this event is over or not?

Kinda weird of them to leave a cauldron in the middle of nowhere with no meaning to it.. :-)

Hold on a sec: if the apothecary guy is no longer there, how are we supposed to conclude the "The Source Revealed" quest?

I'm just there (at the place mentioned above) and indeed I can see a pond, and a tree felled onto it, but no dude, no cauldron, no nothing!

That's some weird stuff...

His exact location is 89,74. It took me ages to find him as somebody had put the wrong location on here. He is up in the mountains. When you get to Ravenholdt manor go to the right of the building and find a path in the mountains just keep following it and you will find him.

Coords are right, they are 87,14 for Hillsbrad, and 89,74 for Alterac!!

When you follow the path that leads to the cauldron, you go over to Alterac, and the coordinates will change.

With Locomama's directions, I was able to find it easily and got there with barely a scratch (on my 27 clothie). The path does begin at 75,23 on the Hillsbrad map, so just start from there. The purple dress looks lovely on my deadie. :)

For some reason I found this NPC on the Alterac Mountains map (sorry, I forgot the coords, but it was around 90,75), not the Hillsbrad Map.

And yes, the quest is worthless, except for finding Ravenholdt for when i lvl my Rogue.

I'm with the guy above, wasted a shitload of time on this quest fr an NPC that is no longer there, screw it.

Just reported it to a GM they're aware it's bugged but that doesn't gimme back my hour plus wasted on this alas.

Just had it confirmed from a GM this quest is boned.. so much for love week.. cheers blizz ^^
