You can catch them at the oasis near Ratchet

the deviate fish swirls have a low spawn by ratchet they mainly spawn at the two lakes outside of WC {wailing caverns} and in WC itself they have a high drop rate inside the swirls but you may just catch the longjaw mudsnappers outside of the swirls

whispering caves isnt an instance in world of warcraft that im aware of but they do spawn at the "WAILING CAVERNS" in the barrens area

You can fish for them at like any lake in the barrens.

Ok, I am anoob when it comes to them. What good are they? I know you can make savory delights..... but, what good are savory delights? It pretty much just says "eat me". Are they something special? I am new to the game and got a recipe for these off of mob. I saw the recipe going for an arseload in the AH. Thought I would check it out. If it is worth my while,, I will be a fishing fool. =).

Also, alchemists can make elixors of giant growth with them and i have read that if you eat them raw weird things can happen (mostly bad).

What lvl fishing will u need for these exactly??

I caught some in Wailing caverns after the escort quest there.

Don't eat them raw.I made that mistake once.Your toon will laugh,and clap for about 30 minutes.Can't do anything else.

you can catch deviate fish next to WC and ratchet as mensioned above, the skill to catch em is very low indeed. It varys from server to server but on kazzakarn they sell once cooked for 11g for 5, no matter your server they sell good.

Fishing pays off when you can fish outland. Floating wrekage in zanga gives good vendor trash and scrolls not to mension fel iron ore and motes of water which always sell well.

brakish spawns yeald about 3 golden darters each and is used to make golden fish sticks (ub3r healer food) which sell on my server for 35g a stack (20) I have seen and fished golden darter spawns but cannot remember where they where as they are super rare, sporefish are good for food too, all 3 lakes in zangamarsh yeald good spawns. Goldenscale vendor fish ... rare fish that sells for 6g each to vendors, machine parts from floating wrekage sells for 10g each but super rare too.

Ok i no where u catch the buggers but wat skill do u need (and don't tell me u need a low skill cuz i no) ive been wondering 4 a while cuz i can make Savory Deviate Delight.
