    im a 46 rogue, pretty easy quest..
    I swim down, knock on the altar, Gazban comes out..
    but its something i dont get, when i've killed him, what should i do?
    I dont get "Stone of the Tides" - how do i get that?

      Gazban spawns from the altar, which has a purple hue. It is found at exactly 24,23 underwater and is surrounded by some 35-37 Murloc elites. 

      Gazban himself is a goblin who turns into a water elemental. Lv 40 non-elite.

      He drops the stone of tides... provided you're on the last part of the quest I suppose.

      I don't know how someone who wasn't on the quest could spawn him, as this requires Catelyn's blade.  If you're having this problem, be sure you've spoken to Catelyn herself, in the BB inn.

        Level 45 hunter.  I wasn't able to set my pet on this guy, or shoot him, while he was in his goblin form.  First time I tried he followed me to the surface, turned  back and despawned.  On the second attempt I stayed down longer, and eventually he came up to attack me in elemental form.  From that point on the fight was trivial.  Looted the corpse, got the stone, quest complete.

        One tip, especially if you don't have water breathing abilities, after you reach the coords stated above, go to the the altar straight from above... When Gazban spawns, swim directly up immediately, Gazban will swim up and you won't have to fight the murlocs...
