Doesn't sound to appealing, cats can attack faster and don't have damage reduction. Perhaps they can add that "tail lash" attack...thats a wicked knockdown can cancel spells, and attacks

Doubt Spiders will get a root, seeing how intimidation is available...although they are different. If anything maybe a slowing poison.
