I have used my bat ever since lvl 11 > im now lvl 56. He's a big rare albino bat i found in trisfall glades, right beside the Under City. He over twice the size now than when i first found him and he has been the best soloing pet I have ever had.
Reasons why Bats are a good pet choice:
1. They have screech which is good for gathering aggro from multible targets which makes them good for pulling mobs off you.
2. Because of their size they provide good coverage so people can't target you as easily in battle grounds.
3. They do excellent Dps, and they get the Bite ability and dive ability which is useful for chasing down runners and devouring them.
4. They look cool and make cool noises =P
Im a BM Tauren hunter and my white bat is about 3 times as big as me and it's bigger than my mount when i use Bestal Wrath! I love killing gnomes with it :D. The down side is that they can become annoying in instances because of thier size and the screech abilty makes a eagle sound :(. But overall, Bats Rock!
