    Basically get you friends to attack shy-rotan. When sian spawns set a frost trap down, fire a distracting shot at him if he goes for the others. Then tame him.

    My frost trap held for most of the taming period.

    Make sure you stay out of combat so you can place your trap. A good feign death should see to that.

    Make sure you feed him up once you have him.

      I tamed Sian 2 days ago after trying only 2 times. The 1st time i went with a friend and it didnt work...why: didnt have enough mana...lol! The 2nd time i decided to try it on my own(level 62).

      I tamed a pet that i used only to kill Shy. She called for Sian, let him beat my ass for the time that was left to kill Shy. When it was done, i quickly put my pet on passive, then i let him go and put a freeze trap and that was it. Sian was trapped for the whole time...peace of cake!! Believe me,its easier alone!!

      I'm verry happy cause he's probably the most beautiful pet...with Humar. :P
