Shutup warriors, this sword is a toy and thats all. Dont worry qrte when you become a big boy you can get av rep and get your Unstoppable Force. BTW as a hunter this is so much fun to go ganking with. My raptor strick crits 1k + and yesterday i had a wing clip crit for 626; I still duel wield Bone Slicing Hatchet for pve. O and for your whinny warriors and idc about pallys, my group was shammy, druid, mage, priest and myself; i was the only one that could use. But i would have still rolled need if a warrior was in group.

So with this if you can use roll need it's alot of fun and looks nice aswell.

Ugo, people with your state of mind should be sterilized to save future generations from having to deal with your idiocy. You were the only one who could equip in your group, ok fine, but when you say that you would roll over a warrior, who actually puts a melee weapon to its proper use, you prove just how much of a jackass you are. "I crit for 1k with my wimp-bitch strike." Warriors would crit 2k+ with this weapon. easily. It's a 'toy' when no one in the group needs it, like in your group's case. But when theres a dps warrior, with a weapon that has less high dmg than this sword, it becomes an upgrade for him, not a toy.

Again, bottom line: hunters who /need this over a warrior who NEEDs it, need to go take a few deep breaths at the bottom of a pool. thx.

I wanna say that letting a hunter roll on this over a warrior is like a warrior rolling on a bow, gun over a hunter Hunter are main range, warriors are main melee... LEARN TO PLAY OR QUIT

Edit: this reminds me when a Hunter said: I would roll on this cause it got alot of +healing and I use mend pet often.

That made me LOL and ROFL long time

Stop saying that, he's right. Many items in this game are not directly useful but fun to have. Look at the billions of weapons with "chance on hit: sends a shadowy bolt at your target for ridiculously little damage" - useless stats. There's even a sword that sometimes increases your run speed, and how useful is that? A warrior could put this to use because of the nice DPS, however if he is tanking for a party he better damn use a shield, so why should him having it benefit your party? There's lots of DPS-warriors, melee hunters (lol! I wonder how they do it...) and paladins who probably find this sword fun so let them have it. I guess you take this game too seriously if you don't know the meaning of toys or don't have a few stupid items around just for laughs.

The only FAIR thing to do to this is shard it and split the money from the nexus crystal.

Oh, so just like every Warrior and Rogue does in every pre-60 instance in the game when a ranged weapon drops they can use, then? My main is a Mage, my main alt is a Hunter, and if he saw this drop he'd go for it. Probably not over a Warrior, true - but I'd want to make DAMN sure that any Warrior I passed on it for wouldn't roll on any epic guns/bows which dropped either. Would they? I doubt it.

I have a 60 paladin (Topal), a 60 rogue (Sigyn), and a 51 priest (Threeler, my namesake) on Gurubashi.  I've been playing this game since it came out and it's just that, a game, but part of a game is following certain rules and a simple rule of thumb is "don't be selfish".  Hunters get a bad rep for needing on everything because too often they do.  I've had +Int gear lost on my Pally (mail in SM before I hit 40, though I have no idea why besides the fact that the game was new and no one really knew any better) and +Agi gear lost on my Rogue (leather.. post 40..) and there are some simple guidelines I think that should be set.

        1) Do not roll on ranged weapon upgrades if you are a rogue or warrior over a hunter.
        2) Do not roll on melee weapon upgrades if you are a hunter over a melee class.
        3) Do not roll on any sort of armor that is not your top rank above someone else of that rank.  (to all you cloth-adins out there making priests hate us)

You don't need to flip out when something purple drops.  Look at what it is before rolling, and maybe you'll realize it's nothing special anyway.  I've seen druids need on the Carapace from Rend's mount just because it was epic.  That's not cool.

And, in closing, think of it like this: If instead of +Agi and +RAP it had +SD and +Int, would a mage roll on it?  When it comes to end game raids, and honestly most level 55+ groups (which is what any player with this weapon must be in), that's what your mentality should be in a lot of cases as a hunter, and if you're a PVP hunter and fleeing from people in AV (as someone mentioned above) you're probably screwed anyway.

Also, in regards to another contested item: Rend's hands are for combat rogues.  They get the most out of them, even more than fury warriors and hunters, thus that's a bigger "need" than you've got.

Thank you, have a nice day.
