i don't have quel'serrar, my guild wants to buy me a compendium as i'm 3rd MT. but i think i'll tell them to save the g, since we're currently at vael and yes, this is better than quel'serrar for tanking.
why? because +13def=.5% parry/dodge/block and it's on chance, and not to say it's pretty much useless once u hit 400 def (+100 from eq). and 300 armor? get real
indeed quel'serrar has +12 sta, but at this point i'm quite ready to give those 120 HP (4.7k unbuffed in tanking gear anyway) up for +4 in swords, as that, even without +hit eq, will drop the miss rate signifficantly.
may sound weird but i'm a fury tank (only have basic survival talents, last stand + toughness + shield spec), rest is fury up to full flurry, and i do crit a lot, including heroic strike, which i always use after sunders are stacked, as it's much better threat maker than sunder anyway, thus giving this sword much more potential on creating threat than quel'serrar. that's my 2c anyway
