      "shammy by far..
yes i know it depends what u wnat but while soling 2 70 shammy will be the best 4 me pally do ok damge and can heal. But shammy can rez them selves. Wear mail, heal acutally well. Do decent dps and magic damage"

Not that this has anything to do with the Drenai, the Exodar or even the expantion (for which I apologise in advance to thse who came here for actual information about the Exodar), but you should really try out a Pally before you generalize and downplay their strengths compared to shaman.

Paladins have by far the most survivability of any class, they are rediculously hard to kill. Mail wearers or even Warriors don't come close to the Paladin's ability to stubbornly fight on under heavy assault. Paladins *can* do good DPS, in a PvE raid they are only decent damage dealers, but their speciality has always been eliminating enemy players and lone elite NPC's.

Shaman have a wider range of less powerful healing options, they are more flexible, but they lack the single-target potency and peerless mana effiency of a Holy Paladin. It's no secret that Shaman have the worst heals in the game, but they are useful and very cool, a Shaman is put to best use topping up the HP of multiple players and dispensing flash heals to badly injured targets, while a Paladin is best put to use main healing the Tank with 2k or better flash heals (as he will be able to effectively heal the MT for an entire boss fight without having to worry about mana, we just never run out.) or on "damage control" to quickly restore large chunks of HP to critically wounded players.

As for DPS, Shaman do more, no doubt about it, they can't totally flog Pally DPS anymore now that Paladins have been un-nerfed for the Expantion, but they do still deal more damage than Pallies. Paladins do however, deal more magical damage that most Shaman (Elemental Combat Shaman obviously deal a lot more, but most Shaman I know are Enhancement for PvP or Resto for Raiding with very few exceptions). Paladins deal "Holy" damage, this is literally the best type of damage in the game, there is no Holy resistance (nor should there be) and it cuts right through armor, the only protection against Holy damage other than death is an ability that absorbs or stops *all* types of magical damage, such as Power Word: Shield or Divine Shield. In addition to that, grounding totems and other redirection effects won't help much as all Paldin Holy attacks are either judgements (which are immune to redirection), melee attacks or AOE. The sole exception to this is of Hammer of Wrath, which may be vulnerable to grounding totems.

Paladins and Shaman are very similar classes and trying to say one is better than the other is total folly, Pallies have always been mocked for being terrible DPS'ers and excellent healers, now they can DPS again, so that argument is moot, Shaman are a more damaging class with more ranged attacks, but they have fewer special misc abilities and have nowhere near the survivability of Paladins and Warriors. They are the same basic concept (That is both are all-purpose Hybrid with Heals/DPS/Tanking options) with dramatically different styles of play.

As for why the Blood Elves are with the Horde now, simply put they outlived their welcome in the Alliance, they succumb to their magic addiction and turned to dark and corruptong sources of power to sustain them, the Alliacne began to mistrust the rapidly degenrating elves when they refused to see reason and eventually, the elves's leader was placed under arrest by a more xenophobic alliance commander and later rescued by the corrupt Naga. The Blood Elves fled and were officially expelled form the Alliance and the even the Holy Light itself has forsaken them for their sins. They have now joined the Horde. Only a few untainted [u]High Elves[/i] remain. You can tell the difference between them by looking at their eyes. Uncorrupted Elves have blue eyes. Blood Elves have green eyes.

Why Thrall didn't have the treasonous dogs killed or turned away is beyond me, but then again he allied with the insane and irredemably evil Forsaken as well... Strange bedfellows Hordies, what the HELL were you thinking?!

I don't think Thrall allied with the Forsaken and the Blood Elves only for altruistic reasons. I think he did not want the Alliance ruling the whole Eastern Kingdoms with only a few horde outposts that eventually would have been forced to give up because their supply line would have been cut out.

But that's just what I think the great thing about wow lore that it's not like other fantasy lore it's not that they are evil and they are good it's far more deeper and more complicated then that in the warcraft lore :P

          HERE is how it happened.

The forsaken split from Arthas and they were not powerful enough to even think to defeat him, so the allyed the other horde races out of the convenience of the Forsaken and the Horde facing a common enemy.

          As for the blood elves:

They were struggling to get their land and the sunwell back, they were weak since their prince went to Outland, and the majority of the blood elves followed. Sylvanas (Who was once a High Elf)saw that the Blood Elves needed help, so she fought tooth and nail to get the Blood Elves allied with the Horde.

Exactly. The Orcs slaughtered the Draenei so they would never join them. Also to anyone saying the Blood Elves should join the Alliance: 1. They wouldn't be trusted at all 2. If they DID join, the Night Elves would leave because they want nothing to do with them. After the Blood Elves left the alliance is when the Night Elves joined. The Blood Elves might have fought against the Legion butit was for theirown reasons not to help the Night Elves or Alliance which is also why they joined Illidan and the Horde because they cared or magic more than the Alliance.

      Okay. So.

Well, the Titans, of course, made the world. And they made the inhabitants of it after themselves, the Night Elves. The Titans also made Earthen and stuff like that, and how the **** humans, gnomes, trolls, murlocs, naga, goblins, tauren, undead, gnolls, worgen, etc. were made is not explained. Anyway, the night elves started using magic. But suddenly, their magics attracted Sargeras and his Burning Crusade peoples nearly destroyed them all. The Night Elves vowed never to use magic again, but some Night Elves still wanted to use it and were banished. The banished Night Elves became the High Elves. The High Elves were allied with the humans. But then the Big Well Thing got destroyed by some evil guy, and their was a lot of slaughter, and the High Elves became the Bllod Elves and were addicted to magic and blah blah blah. Let me read my manual.

i noticed that you keep saying "Illidan the banished NIGHT ELF" and similiar but you are wrong, he acually might be an mix between high and night elves who were a same race before the war for the Well of Eternity, night elves wanted to destroy the Well(source of arcane magic) and high elves wanted to keep it(addicted), but Illidan also wanted to keep it(thats why he ended in eternal prison in W3), and also he had golden eyes(before Kij'jajden ripped them off) and others had silver eyes, and now he is a total arcane magic addict, and his orbs(Kil'jajden gave him those once he ripped out his eyes and putted orbs instead)are glowing green like blood elf eyes.(green eye glow is a simpton of ARCANE magic addiction)

Most popular question of the alliance, but lucky for you I happen to know since I made a draenei alt.  Exodar/Teldrassil both have a ship that leads to Auberdine, but there is one other ship on the other port (if u don't see it immediately, just wait) that leads to menethil harbor in the wetlands--take it.  Once u get there, get the FP for now and go around the big fort/building and walk out the gates and follow the road.  Be careful if ur not at least lvl 20 since the monsters here are around that level (I had problems myself on a PVP server with highby horde ppl, so watch out on PVP servers urself).  If u check ur map, u should notice that the trail goes east and not south towards SW or even Ironforge, but keep going and you'll eventually turn south near the east end of the Wetlands.  You'll then go through a bunch of tunnels (assuming ur still following the path) and end up in loch modan.  From there, go west across the bridge (or if u want to swim across the lake, keep in mind there lurks a few monsters underwater) and go south until you reach the town (whose name escapes me right now).  Get the FP while ur here and continue southwest until u reach two sets of tunnels.  There is a dwarf npc blocking the other tunnel which is locked, so obviously u take the one thats not blocked which leads u to Dun Morough.  From here, more tunnels...but then u get to the Winter Wonderland (or wasteland) of Dun Morough.  I know you're tired, but keep pushing on west and finally take a right at the sign pointing to Ironforge.  Once u make it inside, take another right and follow the path to get to the deeprun tram (don't worry about entering the portal, its not an instance).  Wait for either tram and hop on.  At the end, walk outside the portal and SH'ZAM!!! You're in SW!

FIRST:  HOW DO I GET OUT OF EXODAR?

Answer:  The Seat of Naaru area.  Run clockwise around up any ramps until you get to the doorway that connects you with the main entrance.  There is a second way out through The Vault of Lights, which has a steep spiral path that takes you outside to the cave on the map.

SECOND:  HOW DO I GET THE FLIGHTPATH?

Answer:  Once you get out of the city, it's a bit to the north of the cave.  I think the Draenei get this FP automatically, and it links with Blood Watch on Bloodmyst Isle.
