well, i have seen people being ripped off in the AH so much, in my server, Korgath, stupid people are selling thick leather for less then you would to a vender. thick leather sells for 60s to a vender, in the AH it has a 20s deposate, people are selling Thick leather for 65s! whats the deal??

This post is faded because it has a negative score.

you get the deposit back when you sell it and pay like 5%(?) to the AH vendors for selling for you.  it probably only makes them an addition silver so i dont know why they bother.

You get the deposit back, so I guess thats why their doing it, eh?

After a couple of stacks thats not really a bad profit, each little bit helps!

You may get the deposit back, but you still have to put the deposit in, so your actually not coming out ahead, it just seems like it.  If i put a stack of light leather in the AH for 55s, and the AH deposit is say 15s, when it sells, ill get 70s, but 15 of it is money i already had before, so i am actually making less money than i would selling it to a vendor (assuming that the 60s is the correct price for a stack of light leather).  Also iirc, the auctioneer takes a small percentage for himself, so there is even less profit.  I would only make about 52-54s, where i could have just sold it to a vendor to make 60s.  I know that this is not an incredible amount of money, but you are losing money by putting stuff in the AH for less than it would sell to a vendor

you need higher recipes or higher level training the lag shouldn't affect that, just go to another city to the trainer and get what u need

either your a trial account, or you need to skin high lvl monsters, you can tell this by when it says skinning on a corpse, if it is red, you can skin it, if it is orange u can skin and gain a lvl, yellow is gain lvls often and green is occasionly  gain a lvl.

I dont know if the people who are selling the thick leather for so cheap will read this or not but ,GO RIGHT AHEAD, you sell a stack for 65s...i'll buy it and sell it for 4g25s that works for me, on my srever though it doesnt sell so cheaply and not to be rude but what r u complaining about if they sell it for less than at a vendor ...buy it and sell it to the vendor your self, or  buy it to keep it out of the AH and the market will improve to a point where it will be more profitable, its all in how you look at it :)))

Geez I would be doing back flips if I saw this price on Staghelm.  I would buy out the entire lot, use what need, sell the rest for a nice healthy proffit.
