        now check it again. i didn't even bother to check the stats you said, but i just take them for granted. now see that this set adds a friggin high amount of 'resilience', which not only reduces your enemies' chance to crit you, but also crit dmg. now throw same sta/resilience gems into this baby, a stun resist gem into the meta socket and any rogue wearing this + stuff from non-arena pvp will wtfpwn even your t6 rogue.

            Sure, your job may not be to tank, but the other arena team would have to be exceptionally poor at pvp in order to let you run around and do damage unharmed.  So while your job may not be to be the tank, if you're in range, as you're likely to be as a rogue, you're likely to be getting beaten on by your opponent.  Resilience and stamina is a very good thing in pvp.  And if you need more AP, fill all the red slots with +16 AP gems.

          It makes perfect sense.  What he's saying is other classes need a set per spec - ie. druids with a feral set and a healing set whereas rogues don't need that since all of specs benefit from agility and stamina.

      Actually, the AP and crit bonuses are not that far off from t4.
      This set gives a total agi bonus of 137, vs netherblade's pathetic 66.
      so that's 71 AP , and about 4.25% added crit from the agi stats. Not to mention the better +% to dodge.
      Granted, t4 gives 4.25% bonus on straight +crit, and even more +AP (by 200 or so more AP), but there are no dodge bonuses and as stated earlier, crappy agi bonuses. T4 would be a lousy pvp set, it is only meant for damge output - no survivablity at all.

      This set looks great for PvP, it allows for a reasonable amount of damage whilst giving a level of suvivability that was previously unheard of for rogues. I even like the look of it, but the one thing that really bugs me about it and the accompanying marshal's boots, bracers and belt is that the total bonuses to hit are a massive 0. This is a serious flaw in our high end PvP set and seriously needs to be remedied. Id really not like to see a shadowstep ambush fail to hit the target, thats a good way to get seriously owned.

      Guys, i know this set does not have alot of ap, but you have to remember the sockets aswell, if you can afford them, you can put some nice +16 ap and +20 ( pvp gem ) in them. if you get some good ap enchants on them aswell, believe me, the'll own.

        It's indeed quite a shame. This set is absolutely awesome in PVP. Any rogue wearing this set with the right gems (resillience and stamina) will be a real pain and won't go down easily. Any rogue with the skills to nail and stun that is.

        But then again, you need to spend days of fighting in the arena to earn one of the ugliest sets in the entire game. I agree that it kinda sucks that as a reward for spending hours on end in the arena, you get to run around in a shapeless moss-covered garbage-bag.

        The game is not a fashion show, but the looks of this epic arena set should have been more rewarding. Perhaps I'm getting it wrong. Maybe it's meant to bore your opponents to death or to make them die as a result of a laughing-fit;)

        Actually I like how this set looks.  It's subtle and unassuming, yet your enemies will know a tough fight is ahead.  I wouldn't be comfortable with a boisterous set, like the shammy shoulders with that watery glass thing, or the HWL shoulders with that annoying fire.  This set, however, fits my style.

      Oh, and to the PvE scrubs:  your set is this way -> http://thottbot.com/?set=622  Gtfo, this set is for PvP, which you don't understand at all, thanks.

      all you complaining on to low AP and on. that's not what's needed most in pvp. the new thing resilence and high stamina is what you need. this set is designed for surviving alone in pvp.
      a warrior can't take aggro, and lots of people are smart enough to nuke those with low armor, for example rogues. so it will not help with insane AP if you dies after 5 sec in battle.

      and btw: the shoes on the picture is the Marshal's leather boots.

        If anyone needs clarifying like this idiot, NO. You CANNOT get s2 or s3 with honor points as of now. The only set you can get with honor is s1. Idk if they will change that in a later patch or expansion, but as of now, you cannot get all 3 sets with honor.

      Did this for myself, but thought I'd share anyway.

      Key
      AV = Alterac Valley
      AB = Arathi Basin
      WSG = Warsong Gulch
      EotS = Eye Of The Storm
      MoH = Marks of Honor
      HP = Honor Points

      Cost of Full Gladiator Gear
      Helm: 30 AV MoH // 14500 HP
      Tunic: 30 AB MoH // 14500 HP
      Spaulders: 20 AB MoH // 11250 HP
      Gloves: 20 AV MoH // 10500 HP
      Leggards: 30 WSG MoH // 14500 hp

      Total
      50 AV MoH // 50 AB MoH // 30 WSG MoH // 65,250 HP

      And in case you wanna mix with the Battleground
      (Vindicator/Veteran) pieces:

      Belt : 40 AB MoH // 17850 HP
      Bracers: 20 WSG MoH // 11794 HP
      Boots: 40 EotS MoH // 17850 HP
      Bands: 10 AV MoH // 15300 HP
      Pendants: 10 EotS MoH // 15300 HP

      Total
      10 AV MoH // 40 AB MoH // 20 WSG MoH // 50 EotS MoH // 90,028 HP

      Which puts the GRAND total (assuming you get one ring and not two)at:
      60 AV MoH // 90 AB MoH // 50 WSG MoH // 50 EotS MoH // 155,278  HP

      Phew...
